In my work as a psychotherapist I have come to appreciate the importance of the space between the therapist and the patient, where the dynamics of the therapy relationship come into play.

As a photographer I try to explore a similar space co-created in my encounters with the people that I photograph. This is a space where tension builds up, curiosity evolves and a certain kind of experiential understanding may be reached.
